Two Things

Honorary Mention in the 2011 Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Competition

there are mainly two things

which are left

after every man

socks

or T-shirts

first ones

borrowed in the mornings

second ones

borrowed at nights

when the decision

bites the leg of the heart

like the mad dog

then they stay

in your wardrobes

to heat

the memory
