let me take your blessings & plant them among the garden pinks
before the path of scathing & stripped to
arpeggio chords: believe, belong, become.
light bent by dark matter. pop-up ads no
longer know my face. before the pyramid
of my consumption pattern. before tasting
the wild boar. my algorithm’s rhythm’s now
gorilla. before watering arugula under that
gibbous moon. before i spin prayer wheels
& light butter lamps. before, i took chances
with nuance as galaxies collided in a bigger
bear. before a peloton chats about rimbaud
& traffic backs up. before davening before
some terrible appeal i apprehend before god
stirs. before shapes & whirrs. before names.
