theory of free jazz

it’s a question of opposing

this version of events:

market logic doesn’t work

and the configuration

favours resistance aesthetics,

animalist lines,

the undeniable attraction of the abyss.

a matter of murders

and screeching iron, certainties dissolved,

it cuts, grabs the electricity

and disputes all versions.

no mirrors are used.

it never gives in.

it’s a dark history, scheme

and bone, it obliterates walls

like a mole, then splits,

plays

the freedom of all

teoría do free jazz

trátase de impugnar

esta versión dos feitos:

non funciona a lóxica

mercantil e o trazado ofrece

estética de resistencia,

contornos de animalidade,

a indiscutíbel atracción do abismo.

asunto de homicidios e

ferro estremado, disolve certezas,

corta, apreixa a electricidade

e cuestiona calquera relato.

non utiliza espellos.

non sabe de capitulacións.

é historia opaca, esquema

e óso, aniquila paredes

igual que a toupeira, deserta,

practica

a liberación de todos

What’s on the way is scary.

Not many cars pass.

But in two hours we’ll take Berlin.

And though we don't know

exactly

how this summer will go,

we know we are together.

Also

that the force of our love

could be perfectly useless.

"Lo, the toll for living", as Aurelius

used to say.

The crow in the middle of the city rises

and soars into the sun.

O que vén aí pon medo.

Non pasan moitos autos.

Pero en dúas horas habemos tomar Berlín.

E aínda que non sabemos

exactamente

como avanzará este verán,

si sabemos que estamos xuntos.

Tamén

que a forza do noso amor

pode perfectamente ser inútil.

“Velaí a peaxe por vivir”, adoitaba dicir

o Aurelio.

O corvo, en plena cidade, remonta o voo

e ascende contra o sol.
