A present of a bird

Blown to life from molten glass

thumb-pressed in the tail
with love

a heart made of fingerprints
blue feathers

clear, clean, bulbous
a thrush, I think

its migratory pattern follows
my sisters
my own

from my bookshelves warbling:
restless
