Originally from Belfast, Paul McMahon lived for 16 years between Prague, Berlin, India, and Mexico. His poetry awards include The Ballymaloe International, The Nottingham Open, The Westport, and The Golden Pen. In 2015 he was awarded The Keats-Shelley Poetry Prize by Carol Ann Duffy, and his poetry has appeared in The Threepenny Review, The Stinging FlyThe Atlanta Review, The Irish Times, and Southword.
