Róisín Leggett Bohan, winner of the 2025 Patrick Kavanagh Award, is a writer from Cork. She is the co-founder and editor of HOWL New Irish Writing and holds an MA in Creative Writing from University College Cork. She gratefully acknowledges the support of the Arts Council and Cork City Council through their literature and artist bursaries.
