Throughout the course, each class will begin with a discussion of a specific aspect of poetic craft and include generative writing exercises designed to inspire new work. Students will also participate in workshops of their poems each week. In addition, participants will receive a packet of poems to read and will be encouraged to write a new poem in response to each week’s theme.
Workshops will take place on Zoom from 6 – 9 PM IST and the price of €120 (or €100 for unwaged, by request and no proof or explanation needed) includes 3-hour workshops on four consecutive Mondays (15, 22, 29 June and 6 July). Participants must be able to commit to attend at least three out of the four workshops. Meetings will not be recorded but if you can’t make a session you will still receive poetry packets and any other materials provided for the class). For queries and bookings email us at info@munsterlit.ie. First come, first served. We will update this post when sold out but will continue to take names for the waiting list.
