Poetry submissions are open until 28th February. Southword pays contributors €40 per poem. We welcome submissions of up to four poems per submission period.
*NOTE: We have now closed poetry submissions for Southword early as we have already filled out quota of fabulous poems which we’re able to take for our 2023 issues – we felt it would be unfair to accept more submissions under these circumstances. Thank you everyone who sent in your work!
Fiction submissions are open until 31st March. Southword pays contributors €250 per short story of up to 5000 words. We welcome submissions of one short story per submission period.
